In the midst of the scorching heat of the Piura Valley, surrounded by endless arid landscapes and accompanied by relentless mosquitoes, we set off – to the farmers who cultivate our Piura Blanco cacao with dedication.

On adventurous paths, through valleys and over rivers, we reached one of the most remote growing regions of our cacao: Quemazon. A place where time is still dictated by the sun, and glass windows are a rare luxury.

An experience full of authenticity and simplicity

Here, we were able to experience not only the cacao, but also the people who nurture it with love and care.

A gift from the dry Piura Valley

Our Piura Blanco is a true miracle of nature – and one of the cacaos grown in the most extreme conditions.

From the cacao fields to the oldest temple complex in Latin America

Our journey took us further, to the oldest traces of cacao culture. In Montegrande, an archaeological site of historical significance, we discovered evidence that people were holding spiritual ceremonies with cacao here as early as 5,300 years ago.

🔎 Guided by leading archaeologist Dr. Quirino Nuñez, we gained deep insights into the history of this place.

🌀 In an ancient stone spiral, we celebrated a ceremony to harmonize masculine & feminine energy.

An encounter with the Awajun tribe

After the archaeological sites, we immersed ourselves even deeper into the Peruvian hinterland and visited the Awajun tribe.
