Once again in detail for cacao lovers
1. Heat water or a plant-based milk substitute
Feel free to use your cup to measure how much liquid you need. By gently heating it on the lowest setting (1-2), you ensure that all the nutrients in the cacao are preserved and benefit your body and mind.
If possible, the liquid should not boil, otherwise some of the cacao butter will separate from the cacao and form a golden film over the drink. This is neither harmful nor disgusting, but I like my cocoa best without it.
2. Chop the cocoa mass with a knife if you like
By making it smaller, the cacao dissolves more quickly and the dosage is also easier. For a ritual cup, I usually use around 30 grams of brown gold.
For a delicious everyday drinking cacao , it is about 20 - 25 grams.
I prefer not to weigh my cacao. After a few cups you will know how much cocoa your body and mind likes and you may be able to let your gut feel the dosage. To make it easier to handle, I first cut my block into large chunks and fill them into a glass or other airtight container, which presents the cocoa to my guests and me attractively on my kitchen shelf.
3. Gently add the cacao to the hot liquid and give it time to dissolve completely
At first, small lumps will form, which, after constant stirring and stoic patience, will turn into a homogenous, silky drink. The time required for this is perfect for taking a few deep breaths and getting to grips with your intention for your cacao. If you feel too much going on inside you at this moment, I recommend shaking yourself or dancing a little.
For the smooth foam lovers among us: in a heat-resistant mixer, the cocoa can be stirred to an unexpected foaminess. However, this means that the volume loses points. My gut feeling decides on the drinking temperature.
4. Now is the time for spices
The delicate cacao butter is an excellent flavor carrier for spices from all over the world. Be creative and let your intuition guide you through your spice rack. It is particularly useful to add a little black pepper or cayenne pepper to stimulate blood circulation and make your body receptive to the flood of nutrients.
My favorites: lava or sea salt, saffron, cardamom and cinnamon. Don't have time for that? Use gingerbread spice and don't tell anyone!
5. Pour the creation into your favorite cup and make yourself comfortable in a nice place
Connect with your cacao and your intention. Hand it over to it and let all your senses have their say as you drink. Breathe deeply and relax. Your body knows exactly what is good for it and through the cacao you enter into a beautiful, sometimes wild communication.
Cacao can also do wonders in nature, at work or even in the car. The important thing is that you give yourself the space to enjoy it and receive its message.
6. Let the magic happen
Let the cacao work on your mind and body. The next few hours can be filled with ideas, feelings and creativity. So have something to write with ready. Feel your heart space opening and enjoy the feeling of being held. The detoxifying component is more of a background activity.
Be sure to drink plenty of water and listen carefully to your body. Enjoy!

What makes your cacao "ceremonial"?
Our cacao is 100% single-origin, gently processed, and sourced directly from cooperatives personally selected by Mischa. It is not defatted or industrially processed – this preserves its natural power and depth. -
How do I prepare ceremonial cacao?
Roughly chop the cacao and heat it with hot water or plant-based milk to 60–70 °C (do not boil), then blend or froth. For a ceremony, we recommend 25–30g per serving; for everyday use, less is fine. -

It is heart-opening, mood-lifting, relaxing, and at the same time invigorating – without the nervousness associated with coffee. Wonderful for meditation, creativity, or rituals, but also for starting the day. -
Can I drink it every day?
Yes. Many customers integrate it as a morning ritual or coffee substitute. You can start with smaller amounts (5–10g) and increase as needed. -
How long does one pack last?
That depends on the dosage: for weekly ceremonies, a 500g pack often lasts several months. For everyday use, there are smaller sizes or sample packs. -

Provided the cocoa is not heated above room temperature or exposed to moisture, it can be stored for up to two years without problems.

Above 25°C ambient temperature, there is a risk that the cocoa may melt. We recommend storing it in a cool place immediately after delivery in warm weather. Please note: Melted cocoa does not lose quality, but its appearance changes.

Experience our first authentic Criollo cacao.
Sweet, sensual, and straight from the cloud forests of Guatemala to your home.
“In the heart of Guatemala, among ten indigenous communities, we found a cacao that is no ordinary one...”
We climbed a steep hill with the residents of the Jolomijix community until we stood before a massive cave. A sacred fire was burning there. The Mayan priest Miguel prepared the four cardinal directions. With his permission, we placed one of the first samples of our cacao into the fire as an offering—a request for permission to share this treasure with the world.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I participate in the community pre-sale?
Access is exclusive to the WhatsApp community and our cacao ambassadors. All information will be communicated directly via email or message.
Is the cocoa really "bean-to-bar"?
Absolutely. We oversee the process from the raw bean from Guatemala to the finished pour here in our manufactory. Pure cocoa mass, 100% additive-free, handcrafted with lots of love.
When will my Jolomijix be delivered?
All pre-orders are prioritized. We will ship in bulk on the Monday following the pre-sale weekend.
Is that really "genuine" Criollo cacao?
Yes! With the Jolomijix, we now have a cocoa for the first time that we can call Criollo with a clear conscience (approx. 50% content). This is not a marketing trend, but a genetic fact of these rare beans from Central America.
Will there be more Jolomijix?
Yes, we have definitely planned to release another limited quantity to the public after the exclusive community presale.
However, please keep in mind: Jolomijix is an absolute treasure from remote Mayan villages. Since we process every bean by hand in our manufactory in Neubrunn, we can only ever produce and pour very small batches at a time.
Whether and when this cacao will return to us after the current harvest depends on nature and the yields in the Sierra de las Minas. It is and will remain a strictly limited natural product. Therefore, if you have firmly planned to include Jolomijix in your next ritual, we recommend that you take the opportunity during the current batch.
Why is Jolomijix more precious than conventional cacao?
Jolomijix represents not just a new cacao, but a profound journey into the genetics of cacao in Guatemala. With it, we have, for the first time, a cacao in our range that we can truly call Criollo, one of the rarest cacao genetics in the world. This is not a fleeting marketing trend, but a genetic fact of these special beans from Central America.
Mischa visited these beans personally and exclusively in the growing region. On-site, he was able to ensure that only the purest quality and genuine dedication make their way to us—no detours, no compromises. At the same time, we were able to receive the cacao through a powerful fire ritual by our Maya priest, Miguel, as a conscious tribute to its origin.
However, another very essential point lies in the origin itself:
Jolomijix comes from a very small, previously barely accessible growing region with limited harvest quantities. The farmers there work on a small scale, often within traditional structures, far removed from local industrial mass production.
For us, this means quite consciously:
We are not dealing here in large, global trade volumes, but in a very intimate framework of cooperation. The available quantities are small, while the demand for such high-quality Criollo is simultaneously high.
We therefore consciously choose to purchase these beans in small batches and under fair conditions, directly from this special context. This is exactly what is reflected in the price.
Jolomijix is therefore not more precious because we want to position it that way, but because it comes from a reality in which rarity, handcraft, origin, and the connection to the genetic roots of cacao determine its value.
And perhaps that is exactly what you can feel?
That you are not just drinking a new cacao here, but becoming part of a small, powerful cycle.
