The beginnings

Belly landing
September 11, 1992 - a tiny Misha enters the world. In a Ukrainian city called Dnepropetrovsk.

Naturalized
The Federal Republic welcomes him with open arms. No one had asked him beforehand whether he even wanted to live there. It would take many years for him to realize what a stroke of luck that was...

First cocoa contact
He develops an early fondness for cocoa. White shirts, on the other hand, do not strike him as particularly practical.

Big brother
The fact that he is no longer the only chick in the nest doesn't bother him at all. On the contrary! Finally, a chance to take on some responsibility.

His school years aren't exactly glorious, but he manages to graduate. Perhaps he’s just not the sharpest tool in the shed?

He enjoys studying, but not because of the interesting subject matter. With his degree, he is almost as smart as he was before, but he has gained a fair amount of life experience along the way.

His flight-like departure to South America whisks him away into a new world. He is allowed to make mistakes and, in the process, find out who he can be. Freedom becomes very important to him.
