Hi there, dear cocoa soul, Mischa here, you know - the one with the cocoa! Today I'm in the mood to tell you... about recent events and age-old cocoas. Finally, I have an invitation for a cocoa ceremony for you to mark International Cocoa Day. Let's go!
The Cocoa Revolution continuesI can't tell you if it's my ADD or the cocoa that incessantly drives me to take the next steps and further develop Kakao Mischa... without question, it is an unstoppable process.
Most recently, it led to the release of our Piura Taler in the shop as well as our Cocoa Duo, the trial set for curious sippers.
The next evolutionary step is expected to be the launch of our new and extraordinary packaging. I can honestly say that you have never held packaging like this in your hands before.
The new packaging will gradually see the light of day (and our shop). Along with this, there will be slight changes in pricing, because these noble coverings are not made of air and love, but of high-quality paper with up to 15% cocoa shell content. ;)
Wait for it....
 Together we open the hearts of humanityWhile much is transforming on the outside, my team in the background is anything but still. Just recently we had our first official Kakao Mischa Plenary, where the roughly 20 big hearts that Kakao Mischa now consists of gathered to connect and celebrate.
Besides connection, exchange, and appreciation, an important part for Mischa was to remind everyone of the vision and mission of our unrestrained activity.
Here are the vision and mission again for you - short and sweet:
Vision: Open the heart of humanity. I know it sounds big and it is, but unfortunately I see no other way.
Mission:
That sounds more doable! Whether it's 8 million people we get to reach or more... we shall see!
That is the current state, the current goal for the current time. As you know, dear sipper, our world is changing rapidly.
What tomorrow brings, we don't know, but no matter what it will be, it's probably nicer with a cup of cocoa...
Free Cocoa CeremonyAfter many, many tons of cocoa and two shared trips to visit our cocoa farmers, our collaboration with Original Beans is deeper than ever. We’re celebrating that!
With a free cocoa ceremony on October 1st at 7:00 PM, where you will get to know our dear Jan alongside my own Mischa-ness. Jan is a bean expert and a walking encyclopedia when it comes to knowledge about cocoa. Be it its history, genetics, or cultural use.
The joy is all the greater that we get to go on a trip to the origin of our cocoa next year with Jan and our team.
