Why African Cacao?

As you may know, I, Mischa, find it hard to sit still. An offer from Original Beans sparked my curiosity for African beans and their unique energy. My first visit to the African continent intensified this interest. Africa, the so-called cradle of humanity, deeply impressed me.

Only a few sacks of cacao beans made it to our hallowed halls, where my team processed them into high-vibration cacao mass. This experiment was a success, yet I'm not sure if we will include this cacao in our range again. Not because it lacks anything, but because it is my job to keep our range consciously concise. Origin of Rwenzori Cacao

At the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in Uganda lies a piece of lush soil, enriched by centuries of volcanic activity. Here live over 900 smallholder farmers, each cultivating 1 to 3 hectares of cacao trees as their main source of income. These beans, grown in harmony with nature, form the basis for our unique Rwenzori Cacao.
