What should you consider with pets?

Theobromine, invigorating for humans – unfortunately poisonous for dogs and cats. Even small amounts can be dangerous for animals. Please make sure your cocoa is stored safely and cups are out of reach

What about cadmium in cocoa?

Our cocoas comply with the EU guidelines for cocoa imports. They are considered safe and harmless for daily consumption.

How long does the cocoa last – and how do I store it?

Only rarely does cocoa stay in our warehouse for longer than 2-3 weeks. This means your package is always fresh and crisp.

Provided the cocoa is not heated above room temperature or exposed to moisture, it can be stored for up to two years without problems.

What to consider in hot weather?

Above 25°C ambient temperature, there is a risk that the cocoa may melt. We recommend storing it in a cool place immediately after delivery in warm weather. Please note: Melted cocoa does not lose quality, but its appearance changes.
