The Cocoa Gathering will take place for the third time from the 17th to the 20th. May take place in the Thüringer Hütte in the Röhn. Our heartfelt passion is to bring people together, to live in community and to bring the Kakao Mischa community to life.
A weekend (Friday - Monday) awaits you full of community, exchange, growth, connection, heart opening, dance, cocoa and much more.
The Cocoa Gathering comes to life through each and every one of us. No two gatherings look the same because it's the people there, you and me and us, who make it unique. Do your part: Get involved with a workshop, cooking or your creativity.
This is neither a retreat nor a festival, but rather a weekend in which we all co-create together. We will cook together, experience life, create safe spaces, connect hearts and live together. We no longer just want to connect digitally, but also in real life. A community that is created in this place and continues, connected by the magic of cocoa.
You are invited to be part of this wonderful Kakao Mischa community. You are invited to show your most authentic, vulnerable and loving version because I can guarantee you: you will be welcomed with open arms and hearts.
There will be a rough schedule with workshops, meal plan, etc. about a week before the gathering begins. Would you also like to offer a workshop? Then please indicate it directly when you register.
There are two options for staying overnight: in shared rooms in the Thüringer Hütte or in your own van/tent . When registering, please indicate how you would like to spend the night.
There will be a bring-along picnic on Friday evening. Bring something to eat with you (vegetarian, preferably vegan and possibly gluten-free).
Please know that we come together in community. We will cook, clean, tidy up together, but also laugh, cry and celebrate life together.
The Cocoa Gathering will take place again from May 17th to 20th, 2023 at the Thüringer Hütte in der Röhn (Rother Kuppe 3, 97647 Hausen). Arrival is from 2 p.m., departure after dismantling at around 2 p.m.
The cost of participating in the Cocoa Gathering is EUR 95.00 per person including accommodation and meals. EUR 45.00 is due as a deposit when booking. EUR 50.00 must be paid in cash on site.
If you cannot take part, please write an email to melmo@kakaomischa.de in good time. If we can allocate your place to someone else, you will receive your deposit of €45 back.
Of course, you can also take part in the Kakao Gathering if you are not yet part of the Kakao Embassy and you would like to connect more deeply with Kakao and the Kakao Mischa community.
You are very welcome to bring someone who has a deep interest in engaging in community and connection. To do this you simply buy two tickets (or more).
Children are welcome and do not need an extra ticket, they can take part for free. During the registration process, please inform us about the number of children and their ages if you would like to stay overnight in a shared room.

All meals are included in the price. Please make sure to bring something nutritious and delicious for the Friday night take-away picnic. Please only vegetarian food and ideally even vegan and gluten-free.
You will not incur any further costs. You can of course buy cocoa on site if you want. Therefore it is worth having some cash with you.
You are warmly invited to help shape it. The entire Cocoa Gathering is based on the fact that we create together and each individual contributes. You can share your idea for a post during the registration process.
With the Kakao Gathering, we offer a space in which we put community first. Everything is allowed, nothing has to. You decide for yourself how deep you want to go and how much space you need.
Our goal is to connect the magic that each and every one of us brings into the world to invite more cocoa, more change and more love. A network of people for a new world. A world with cocoa, of course
